ATV

Discover the rugged terrain of the Magnetawan area on off-road adventure. Feel the exhilaration of driving along an unbeaten path of take smooth ride on one of the many trails. The Municipalities of Magnetawan and Whitestone now allow ATV’s on all municipal roads. The areas north of the village of Magnetawan along the Nipissing Road ( Trans Canada Trail) has thousands of acres of forest trails.

BOATING

When you want to explore the Magnetawan River, Ahmic Lake or Lake Cecebe as well as many other lakes in the Magnetawan area the easiest way is by boat. So many unexplored or untouched corners make you feel relaxed when you ride along the waterways.Here you are part of a 40 mile waterway. So many lakes to explore!

Ahmic Lake, Cecebe Lake, Horn Lake, The Magnetawan River and many the other lakes in the area invite you to come and catch fish. There are Pike, Pickerel or Walleye, Bass, Crappy, Pan Fish, white fish, lake trout, brown trout . . . And so many more . . .

The Ministry of Natural Resources. considers Ahmic Lake to be one of the most well stocked lakes in the Parry Sound District.

This area is great to find all kind of animal you can photograph and hunt like: Black Bears, Moose, Deer, different Birds, and more. There are thousands of acres of crown land in this area!

Even with your own activity you can explore by canoe or kayak and listen to the nature or watch some animals along the waterways. There is the world renown Magnetawan River Canoe Route, plus so many small lakes, streams and rivers to explore This un crowded area awaits your paddle!

Spring White Water Rafting

Even better is the excitement when you have your adrenaline pumped and go for a white water rafting adventure. Bring some friends during and ride on the Magnetawan River. Since the water level is only high enough during the spring months the time to ride is limited. So make sure you commit early.

Our area offers many diverse trails. Come explore the valleys, the hills and the streams.
There are two stables offering a diverse experience. The unique Icelandic at Clear Lake Farms or western style riding at Riverside Ranch.

It is strongly recommended that you plan to book a trail ride as soon as you have your vacation dates set. You can book for an all day ride, or as little as one hour depending upon the stable and experience you are looking for. Both stables offer rides for both novices and experienced riders.
